Pascal Baetens is a Belgian professional photographer who specialises in portrait, fashion, nude and travel assignments for editorial, commercial and private clients. He is based in Lovenjoel, Belgium, where he also runs a series of teaching workshops on different aspects of nude photography. His work has featured widely in magazines and leading books on modern photography, and he has exhibited his work throughout Europe and North America. His collection of subtle black & white nudes lead to the books 'The Fragile Touch' (1999), 'Allegro sensibile' (2002, 'The Art of Nude Photography' as USA-edition, 2003), 'Heavenly Girls' (2004, 'Heavenly Beauties' as USA-edition, 2005).

Pascal Baetens has interviewed photographers such as Avedon, Bitesnich, Dunas, Lindbergh, Maroon and Witkin for magazines worldwide and has been curator of various exhibitions. He is the author of the book 'Nude Photography, the Art and the Craft', that was published by DK in October 2007.
